There are some artists who do not like doing commissions. I am not one of them.  I like the process and the excitement of collaborating with the painting’s future “family”.  We begin with a meeting to explore concepts, which become sketches. These ideas are revised and refined before painting begins.  The client sees the painting once or twice either in my studio or in their office or home to chart progress. Toward the end of the painting, we work together to select the perfect frame that will complement both the painting and the room where it hang.   From the beginning idea, to the nail in the wall, the process of creating an entirely new work of art is satisfying and challenging.  Contact me to see if there is a painting in your future.
